• Pages visited and features used
• Search queries and filters applied

• IP address and approximate location

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your account
• Display your listing to potential buyers
• Connect you with certified agents (if requested)
• Power our AI tools to provide personalized estimates
• Send transactional emails (account confirmation, listing updates)
• Improve our platform and user experience
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Information Sharing

We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:

• With agents you select — your contact details are shared with agents you choose to work with
• Service providers — we use Supabase for database storage and authentication, all data is encrypted
• Legal requirements — if required by law or to protect our legal rights
• Business transfer — in the event of a merger or acquisition, your data may be transferred

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which uses industry-standard encryption. All data is stored in Canada (Central region) in compliance with Canadian privacy laws.

We use the following security measures:

• SSL/TLS encryption for all data in transit
• Encrypted passwords using bcrypt hashing
• Row-level security to ensure users can only access their own data
• Regular security audits and updates

5. Cookies & Tracking

ListDirect uses minimal cookies and tracking:

• Session tokens — to keep you logged in
• Google Maps — for address autocomplete (subject to Google's privacy policy)
• We do not use advertising cookies or sell your browsing data

6. AI Tools & Data

When you use our AI-powered tools, the information you enter (property details, addresses, contract text) is sent to Anthropic's Claude AI to generate responses. This data is used only to generate your requested output and is not stored or used to train AI models.

Please do not enter sensitive personal or financial information into our AI tools beyond what is necessary for property analysis.

7. Your Rights

Under Canadian PIPEDA and applicable privacy laws, you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of your personal data
• Correction — request corrections to inaccurate data
• Deletion — request deletion of your account and data
• Portability — request your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent — opt out of non-essential communications

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Listing data may be retained for up to 2 years for analytics and legal compliance purposes.

ListDirect is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify registered users of significant changes by email. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
